A Kansas holiday classic, shrunk down to a crunchy little bite and baked with perennial Kernza®.
Peppernuts are the small, warm-spiced cookies that get passed around at church gatherings, family tables, and neighborhood celebrations across the plains. Ours are bite-sized and crunchy, with walnut, a little molasses depth, and spice in every one. We swap some of the all-purpose flour for whole grain, non-GMO Kernza®, so a familiar tradition carries a grain with deep roots.
